Zaffo Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Zaffo, the AI cooking assistant mobile app published by Pinegrass Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (“Pinegrass”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using Zaffo, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

These are Zaffo’s product-specific terms. Privacy is covered separately in the Zaffo Privacy Policy.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use Zaffo. You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. Sign-in is provided through Google Sign-In and Apple Sign-In.

When using Zaffo, you agree not to:

• Break any applicable law, or infringe the rights of others.
• Upload content that is unlawful, harmful, or that you do not have the right to share.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, overload, or disrupt the app or the services it relies on.
• Misuse the AI features — for example to generate content that is illegal, or to circumvent safety or rate limits.
• Resell or commercially exploit Zaffo without our consent.

You retain ownership of the content you create (your recipes, meal plans, photos, and notes). You grant us the limited licence needed to store and process that content to operate the app, including sending it to our AI processor as described in the privacy policy.

Zaffo uses AI to generate recipes, suggest meals, estimate calories, and score dishes against dietary goals. This output is for general informational purposes only and is not medical, nutritional, dietary, or health advice.

AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your circumstances. Calorie and nutrition estimates are approximations, not measured values. Always use your own judgement, check ingredients for allergens, and consult a qualified doctor, dietitian, or nutritionist before relying on Zaffo for any decision affecting your health — especially if you have allergies, a medical condition, are pregnant, or are managing a clinical diet. You are responsible for the food you prepare and consume.

Zaffo is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may add, change, suspend, or remove features, and we may set or change usage limits, at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

You may stop using Zaffo and delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, misuse the service, or where required by law. On termination, your right to use Zaffo ends; data deletion follows the Zaffo Privacy Policy.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pinegrass is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) Zaffo or from reliance on AI-generated content. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us for Zaffo in the twelve months before the claim, or ₹1,000, whichever is greater. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Imphal, Manipur have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these terms or your use of Zaffo.

The “Last updated” date above moves whenever anything material changes. Continued use of Zaffo after a change means you accept the updated terms. Prior versions are available on request to connect@pinegrass.in.
